Okay, so the names have been sent in, and the nominations read. Last year, this is where the panel stepped in and pared the list down to nine names. And you'd expect this to happen again, right?

I don't think so!

This is where YOU become involved yet again!

We've got 26 names, and we need it to be nine. "So, what to do? What to do?" You might ask.

You guys are going to be the panel. Below are 26 descriptions accompanied by a number. There also are links, for the lazy out there, which will send a note with the subject being "Vote-" and the number you're voting for.

The tenth name, or the Wild Card, will be chosen personally by lolly later on.

The List

1. They are passionate about the deviantART community. They ran a successful club based around one of the forums, and regularly contribute in a positive, friendly manner even while other people have a tendency to perhaps be mean spirited and elitist. Their forum post is ridiculously high, and you would be hard pressed to find one that was the slightest bit aggressive. This deviant loves deviantART, and makes it a truly fun and positive community to be a part of.

2. They are always active and friendly in dAmn and they do many projects within the community. They are a lovely person

3. They are moderators in various dAmn rooms and are involved in projects around deviantART. They're friendly and very approachable if you need help with your artwork.

4. This deviant shows constant support in our community! This artist is always a giver of gifts to fellow deviants and shares wonderful stock freely each month to us all. There are always fantastic features of our great artists here on dA and words of kindness left for us by this wonderful person.

5. This deviant is a force to be reckoned with - with over 10000 comments given on deviations; they're not afraid to critique or just express their love on any piece of art they find. They're also really showing the "deviant" part of their artistic skills through branching into various genres of their medium of choice, while maintaining a personal style throughout their gallery, and their name has become something of legend on dA - I'd be surprised if any active members don't know of them!

6. This deviant is one of the most well respected members of our lit community. It's difficult for me to choose a few things that they’ve done, because they’ve been involved in so many areas. They’re actively involved in contests and events, and also produce helpful articles which assist deviants in improving their writing. Besides being dedicated to the community, they are also a kind, intelligent deviant, who spreads awareness and encourages improvement.

7. This deviant is, pure and simple, Awesome. They are more than willing to go out on a limb to introduce someone new to the processes of deviantART, and are very vocal about supporting a club which is seen to be quite a popular one, among the deviantART community. This person is the best friend one could ask for, providing you show them the respect they deserve, they will return the gesture, and do anything they can to help you.

8. They have a unique understanding of all types of art and are willing to help out anyone who asks for advice. They are very friendly and are very generous when it comes to critiquing and complimenting. They may not be the most popular Deviant here, but they certainly make a positive impact on all whom they meet.

9. The successful chairman of a deviant-support club, they constantly help out both friends and complete strangers with any problems they happen to have. Dozens of deviants gave him their trust and respect, and they gave them emotional and moral support, never letting them down. I have never known him to deny a deviant in need.

10. They are interested in the well-being of other deviants and are a great source of information for what's going on in dA's community. They is an inspirational artist and moreover, an inspirational person.

11. In all of their pictures they provides an in depth description of the location, the technique they used to capture the beautiful photo, the post processing, and the metadata. They go above and beyond when asked a question about how to do something with regard to photography techniques. They always respond to comments, as well.

12. They run an awesome chat room and are always trying to get the little guy more attention with their news articles while somehow always staying out side of the spot light and never getting the attention they themselves deserve
    They are also responsible for a popular avatar trend that has sprung up all over deviantART. They takes pride in their artwork, and spearheaded the promotion of a weekly news article that features "artists chosen who truly deserve more attention based on low counts of favourites, comments, and watchers, added to their incredible artistic talent."

13. This person makes some of the best films to help people better understand how to better their experience in dAmn the best it can be.
    This person is also very helpful they will help out anyone who asked.
    This person is well known in the forums not only for helping out but for the great suggestions they give.

14. Their work in matte painting and digital art is constantly superb and inspiring, they have created several helpful tutorials, and they founded and lead a cutting edge group of digital artists. In spite of receiving a hefty amount of feedback, they still manage to respond to most comments about their work, and are also a proven force with collaborative works. If any doubts remain about their ability as an artist, they are also currently studying at a prestigious LA visual effects school.

15. This deviant is an avid participator in the community, a beloved forum goer, and a fantastic newsletter author. This deviant also has a great sense of humour and makes DA a joy to participate in.

16. They have given so much to the community with her resources and have worked tirelessly to hunt down art thieves and report them to the administration. They help run a successful chat that features contests and critique sessions for aspiring artists.

17. They are kind, eloquent, and wonderfully weird and will make friends with anyone, but are no push over as they can prove with their sharp wit. They love deviantART, the people and the place, and they should know that they are as loved and as important to the community as the community is to them.

18. They are a widely known and respected member of the community. They are a friend to experienced members and a mentor to not as experienced members. They is fully dedicated to dA and would do anything for it

19. They're more than a great artist, they have a good stock account with lovely resources, promote other artists through regular features, work on collaborations and host regular contests.
    They always leave great comments and many fives, so they look at other people’s art too. Works featuring their stock are not over restricted, blanket permissions are given.
    They do all of this as well as working long hours working with kids and in spite of some difficult times in their personal life.
    All of this makes their a very active member and a great deviant

22. Although they might be outspoken and definitely not shy in opening their mouth when dA and him disagree, their enthusiasm and talent constantly shine through. Their journals are regularly full of useful information on various aspects of art, and are written for nothing more than the love of art and this community. Their own artwork is astoundingly beautiful, and they are more than willing to help other deviants when it comes to creating their own.
    
    Their contribution to this community is immeasurable. Receiving deviantoftheyear would be excellent recognition for the work they does for all of us

24. Not only are they an amazing person, one of the most genuine, kind-hearted you’ll come across, but they're also incredibly loyal. Loyal to their friends, loyal to their family, loyal to their obligations, and loyal to deviantART. They've made so many great impacts all around the site, they've given of their own time and money to help people feel welcome, they’ve run contest after contest, always giving, never asking in return. They're an irreplaceable pillar in the community. Who else to give deviant of the year to, than one whose name echoes in the farthest reaches of dAmn and the forums, and is known throughout for their bouncy, witty attitude?

25. Although they did join dA late this year they have been nothing but a great addition to our ever growing community. They joined and started out small; they made friends and always looked for ways to make new ones. They quickly gained popularity from the talent they greatly displayed in their artwork, they still hasn't forgotten their friends tho. They always support and help their friends 100% and always look for ways to help others improve. truly a great friend, artist, and deviant, worthy of the title Deviant of the Year

26. This deviant is nothing short of superhuman. Their dedication to the site is shown in their willingness to kindly critique, and they generally seek out new talent to show off. They’re often seen on the DD page not as a recipient, but as someone who suggests DDs. You can find this deviant pretty much everywhere across the site. In the forums making suggestions, on chat from time to time, commenting on pretty much everything and generally being an all round supportive person. They run at least three clubs quite successfully and manage to also hold down a demanding job working with the disabled too. All in all they are an A class deviant.
